eLearning
The primary elearning supports we provide to faculty are listed below. Faculty can also contact CTL staff for one-on-one consultation services on any topic related to teaching and learning online or with technology, including Minnesota State’s newest media code (code 14, HyFlex) for in-person instruction that includes remote synchronous options for student participation and/or remote asynchronous options (i.e., lecture capture for remote viewing). This type of instruction also applies to paired classrooms, as some students (in the supplemental classroom) are joining the main classroom remotely.
The HyFlex model has been gaining popularity as colleges and universities across the country make plans to reopen this fall. HyFlex and other teaching scenarios have been featured in recent articles, including this one from Inside Higher Education: https://www.insidehighered.com/blogs/learning-innovation/fall-scenario-13-hyflex-model. You can also view a recording of the Minnesota State webinar “What are Hybrid/HyFlex Modes of Delivery” for more information about how HyFlex is employed at other system institutions.
