New Faculty Orientation

Inver Hills Community College and Dakota County Technical College both offer full-day orientations for new full- and part-time faculty. Orientation days are held every August, about a week prior to the official start of fall semester. Shorter half-day orientations are held in January for faculty who either start mid-year or could not attend in the fall.

Orientation sessions include a welcome and conversation with the college president and provost; human resources and union information; and an introduction to technology and teaching and learning.
