This tech tip is to demonstrate how to link an announcement to a content topic. This is a good way for your students to read the announcement and then they can click right where you would like them to go in the content area.
1. Create an announcement on your course homepage. In this case, this will be the first announcement of the course. Click the Create an Announcement link:
2. Create your announcement:
3. Select the text you would like linked to the content and click the Insert Ouicklink icon:
4. Click Content:
5. Click where you want the link to lead the student. You may need to click a few times to get to the destination:
6. Select Option for the announcement and then save or publish the announcement:
