Adjusting the Reading Order of a PowerPoint Presentation

People who use screen readers need to be sure content on slides is read in the correct order.
The following demonstrates how to adjust the reading order of a particular slide.
1. Open your PowerPoint presentation in the desktop version.

2. Click the Review tab, then click the Check Accessibility:

3. Click Accessibility the Reading Order Pane:

4. The Reading Order Pane will appear on the right side of your screen:

5. You can adjust the reading order of the slide by using the up and down arrows of the reading pane.

6. When you click the various objects on the reading pane, the corresponding objects on the slide will be highlighted:

This should be done for each slide in a presentation.
