Faculty Resource Bulletin

Highlights of this week’s Bulletin include:

Innovative Teaching Fellowships

The Center for Teaching and Learning awards Innovative Teaching Fellowships to faculty who are interested in exploring the use of academic technology in their teaching practice. Fellows will work with CTL staff and colleagues on a sustained project over two semesters. They will also be able to take full advantage of our Digital Learning Lab to learn and experiment with new technology. Faculty are encouraged to apply for fellowships at the beginning of fall and spring semesters, but we will continue to accept applications year-round. Stipends of $1,000 are associated with all fellowships and are awarded upon project completion. Visit the Faculty Resources site for more information.

The 6th Annual Equity Book Group

2022 marks the 6th year Minnesota State Educational Innovations has hosted the Equity Book Group. It’s a great opportunity for Minnesota State faculty and staff to read, discuss, interact, share, and learn with a book on a topic relevant to our work. Read along with colleagues and create an action plan to help develop more equitable learning opportunities for students on our campuses and to eliminate the equity gap by 2030.

The 2022 book is The Color of Law: A Forgotten History of How Our Government Segregated America by Richard Rothstein. This year the first 150 registrants can receive a digital copy of the book at no cost!
