Intelligent Agents
Intelligent Agents can monitor login activity, course activity of a student, and release conditions in a course. Things to consider when creating an intelligent agent are:
• What the agent looks for
• How often the agent acts
• What to include in the notification to the student
The benefit of using intelligent agents is that you can have an e-mail sent to your students automatically to alert them to take an action. You can also use an intelligent agent to send a student a kudos e-mail that can serve as a motivator or you can send a reminder to your student of an action you need them to take for in the course.
