Brightspace Tech Tip: Broken Link Finder

The Broken Link Finder tool identifies broken links within your course that need to be removed and replaced. When a link is broken in your course, students may receive a user “Not Authorized” message, preventing them from engaging with content.

The following steps will identify broken links in your course:

1. In your course navigation bar, click Course Admin

2. Scroll down the page to Administration, then click Broken Links

3. Select the time frame for your search. Then click Apply

4. Any broken links from the selected time frame will appear in the box below
