Optimize the setup of your course for the Brightspace Pulse App

This smartphone app keeps students informed of course events by providing them with notifications about their courses.

  • Your course materials should include end dates or due dates so the information appears in the Pulse App.
  • When students log in to the Pulse App, they will see a graph like the one below, indicating the events of that week.  This image shows that this student has multiple tasks to complete on or before Friday.

The Pulse App automatically pulls dates from the D2L Brightspace course.  Some items require the ‘Display in Calendar’ checkbox to be selected:
